Will Fats Make Me Fat?

Today’s discussion on How to Lose Weight Fast  will focus on fats in our diet. The big misconception is, eating fats will NOT make you fat. Those who have read about this topic are probably aware of the Atkins diet, a diet consisting mostly of vegetables, protein and FATS!! Many people see great weight loss results from this diet, all while eating 10 pieces of bacon with every meal. Now, I am not condoning the consumption of 200g of saturated fat every day, and your doctor will be happy to explain to you the dangers of such a diet, including heard disease and peripheral vascular disease. What I am saying, is fats don’t make you fat!! In fact, unsaturated fats or “Good Fats”, are required for life!! Every membrane of every cell in your body is made of a phosphorylation bait layer, a very complex barrier and gateway between the machinery inside the cell, and the tissues outside of the cell. Good fats are the unsaturated fats, fats that are liquid at room temperature.

Olive oil, seed oils, vegetable oil are all good examples of the “Good” fats we need. The bad fats are the saturated fats, and unfortunately are the ones that always taste really good . But even then, these don’t exactly harm you in the form of making you fat, but moreover they cause cardiac problems due to the way they interact with other molecules in your blood. A good balance to all of this is, don’t worry too much about the oils, and eat the saturated stuff (butter, cream, and act) within reason. This way you can eat foods that won’t cause you to pack on the pounds, and also allow you to enjoy the foods you eat. If you want to know How to lose belly fat don’t worry about eating Fat!!

The Importance of Activity:

Today’s remarks on the quest of How to Lose Weight Fast will focus on the importance of daily activity. We have all heard the speech about how vigorous daily exercise is vital if you are in the market to shed a few pounds. The truth is, you DON’T need to beat yourself up in the gym or run 10 miles daily to lose those unwanted pounds!! Simply following what we would all consider an “active lifestyle” is enough to turn on your “Fat-Burning Switch.” It’s reasonable to assume that everyone’s definition of what an active lifestyle may consist of, but all those variations qualify. Walking your pets around the block a few times a week, or taking the stairs (at least a few flights) up to your office rather than using the elevator definitely qualifies.

A hike, a swim, a game of Frisbee, all of these activities we all have time for and don’t require significant time or cost. Those interested in How to Weight loss must remember that ~70% of our daily energy cost is spent on digestion. Just a little activity throughout the day significantly increases your metabolic rate, and thus the amount of calories burned.  If YOU want to know How to lose weight
, make YOUR lifestyle and Active One!!
